Are interest and principal payments to my wiseAlpha account taxable?

It's our understanding that interest, capital gains on principal payments and debt forgiveness/cancellation on the wiseAlpha Notes are subject to taxation. The interest received from the Notes and all principle payments are paid into your account gross of taxation. Members are responsible for their own tax affairs. We do not provide tax advice and you should consult an independent financial advisor or tax advisor if you have any tax related questions pertaining to your personal tax circumstances.
