A company that is under financial stress and has identified a future shortfall in liquidity or money to run its operations will appoint administrators to run the company (usually a professional accounting firm). The administrators will evaluate all options to maximise the recovery proceeds for secured debt holders and unsecured creditors of the company. This may involve a sale of the business as a going concern to a third party or a liquidation of the company's assets.

WiseAlpha will pass on the recovery proceeds to Fractional Bond holders in the corresponding bond.
